Park And Trails Open to Public

Prince George, B.C. – The City of Prince George is advising the public that Cottonwood Island Park and the Heritage River Trails are now open for public use.
They had been closed earlier this summer after the levels of the Fraser and Nechako Rivers rose substantially, spawning concerns about possible flooding.
The City would like to remind the public to be cautious when walking in these areas as there are parts of the trails that may have standing water.

I guess the city doesn’t pay much attention to the park and trails, people have been using them for weeks. At least they covered off some liability issues by posting the park closed signs.
The mosquitoes are horrid down there now. Worst I’ve ever seen.
