Prince George, BC – Members of the Prince George RCMP’s Downtown Enforcement Unit and Crime Reduction Teams raided a suspected drug house in the VLA neighbourhood, taking nine people into custody.

Acting on a search warrant, officers entered the home in the 1800-block of Tamarack Street yesterday and arrested six adult males and three adult females inside the residence.

Officers discovered crack cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine and an assortment of drug paraphernalia – Corporal Kent MacNeill says the estimated street value of the drugs has been pegged at $25-hundred dollars.

One of the occupants of the home, a 53-year-old man, remains in custody and will appear in court to face a number of drug-related charges.

Bunch of losers!!!!

Methinks the Official Community Plan here in Prince George has the VLA zoned for losers. It doesn’t say that on the plan at city hall. I guess it’s understood. Too bad we couldn’t rezone the whole neighbourhood to a high IQ zone instead.
