Quesnel RCMP Investigating ‘Sophisticated’ Break-In
Prince George, BC – Quesnel RCMP are seeking help from the public following what they’re calling a sophisticated break-in at a convenience store in Bouchie Lake…
While not tipping their hand as to what means the thieves used to force their way into Rocky’s Convenience Store, Constable Krista Vrolyk says evidence at the scene indicates the culprits responsible used a ‘high degree of expertise’ to enter the business and make off with a substantial quantity of cash and merchandise.
Constabale Vrolyk says the break-and-enter occurred shortly after 2am yesterday (Tuesday) morning at the store, which is located in the 2000-block of Blackwater Road in Bouchie Lake.
She says RCMP investigators and a Forensic Identification Specialist attended the scene and officers are actively pursuing all leads. Vrolyk is hopeful any residents in the area who may have noticed a suspicious vehicle, or anything else out of the ordinary will contact the Quesnel Detachment at 250-992-9211 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

What exactly constitutes sophisticated in this neck of the woods? Picking locks instead of booting in the doors or windows?
They drill a hole in the door and use a sawsall to cut the complete lock mechanism out with part of the door. Saw it on TV. Battery powered tools — the burglars friend.
