question: Why do we get so upset if we have one person shot someone with a gun loaded with a 5 oz piece of metal, but think its ok or rather have a oh well attitude when someone goes out and harm’s and destroy lives by drinking alcohol and getting behind the steering wheel of a 2000 lb piece of metal.

I think it’s disgusting when people drink and drive…its a choice and a very selfish stupid choice. I don’t understand it one little bit. If someone shoots someone w/ a gun, they’re CRAZY!I don’t know why people get more upset by that. Both offenses are lethal.

It would likely deterant to most people to drinking and driving if we could pass a law that once convicted of driving while impaired, the vehicle the offender was in is taken by the crown, and auctioned off with the proccedes going to victims of drunk drivers.

The fire department was busy last night! At around 12:30 a.m. they were on the Hart Highway at Arctic Manufacturing when a hydro pole came down (with transformers on it) and burned in the parking lot at Arctic. Live wires across the Hart Highway for about an hour or so.

Ouch crgirl…hopefully you have never been a victim of a drunk driver, or you yourself driven drunk..stricter laws need to be put in place for these criminals.
