Prince George, B.C. – A body has been recovered from the Fraser River near Lansdowne.
While Opinion 250 waits for more details, we can confirm the Coroner has been called to the scene.
There is no information at this time to indicate how long the body may have been in the river, or if it is that of a male or female. RCMP Media Relations Corporal Craig Douglass says the body was first spotted near Ft. George Park and it is not yet known if the deceased was the victim of foul play.
Most recently, the Lansdowne area was searched for any sign of 32 year old Barry Blaine Seymour. He had been last seen in late May in the Sunrise Trailer Court. Although there have been several searches of the area, including one on June 29th, no trace of Seymour was found.

Well,….as of yesterday we (PG) fell from 7th to 14th on the bad list.
That’s horrible. Hopefully, they can determine who it was.
Whoever it is, its a good thing that it was found. Now there can be some closure for the family.
