PG Grays Sit 0-And-1 At Senior Men’s Provincials

Prince George, BC – The Prince George Grays lost their opener at the Senior Men’s Provincial Baseball Championships on at Citizen Field, falling 10-5 to the Kamloops Sun Devils.

Dylan Morgan’s three-run homerun keyed a five-run first inning for the Sun Devils, and an uphill battle for the Grays. 

Prince George fought back with singles in the second and third and scored two in the fourth to cut the lead to 5-4, but Kamloops put the game out of reach with two in the fourth and three in the sixth.

Curtis Sawchuk started the game for Prince George, but lasted only partway through the inning after giving up five runs.  Graham Allard and Jon Bourassa finished up for the 0-and-1 Grays. 

Game three of the tournament between Nanaimo and Trail is just wrapping up, Burnaby and Victoria take to the field at 10:30am.  The Grays will take on Burnaby at 6pm tonight.
