Prince George, BC – The Langley Blaze moved into this morning’s semi-final at the BC Senior Men’s Provincial Baseball Championships, after doubling the host Prince George Grays 6-3 in last night’s play-off game.
The Grays had been up 3-2, until the Blaze pulled out the big bats in the 5th inning – with Scott Webster and Brad Ferraro hitting home runs as the team scored four in the inning.
Brandon Hunter hit a solo home run for the Grays in the loss. It was the team’s strongest finish in years at the provincials.
Langley is playing against Nanaimo this morning to determine which team will face Kamloops in today’s 12:45pm championship game.
