Fort St John, B.C. – The precautionary boil water advisory and “do not drink” notice for Fort St. John Hospital and Peace Villa have been lifted.

 

Water lab reports from the BC Center for Disease Control, as well as a private lab,have confirmed that the drinking water at Fort St. John Hospital and Peace Villa is free of contaminants. The hospital water is safe to use for all purposes.

Northern Health had issued a boil water advisory Thursday after a recent water sample indicated levels of particulate above acceptable levels.

 

The source of the problem has not been specified by Northern Health, but the advisory and notice have been lifted.
