Hazy Day Result of Foreign Smoke

Prince George, B.C.- The blue haze that was hanging over the City of Prince George yesterday was, once again, the result of smoke from forest fires in Siberia.
This scenario is a repeat of a situation that happened in early July. The same kind of weather patterns brought the smoke back into the region but the overnight rain in Prince George has cleared the local airshed.
The Ministry of the Environment says the smoke was noted as far south as Kelowna.

Well if Alberta is supposed to pay for moving oil through BC and people want Japan to pay for Tsunami debris I guess we should get a bill together for Siberia… ;-)
I kind of suspect that “that blue haze” was present and hanging around that “no-idle zone” in front of our Civic Centre. Rules are everything in this world, ya know!
Wish them darn Siberians would quit smoking that darn Russian Tobacco, that third hand smoke stinks!
Just wondering if they had an export permit for that? Also, do we have a trade agreement with Russia for that commodity?
