Truck Driver In Custody

Prince George, B.C. – A 50 year old man from Ft. St. John could face charges following an early morning incident in Prince George.
RCMP in Prince George say they had received complaints about a red pic up truck that was driving erratically in the area of 5th and Foothills boulevard around6:30 this morning.
The truck was reported to be swerving all over the road, hat hit the curb and median and failed to stop at red lights.
Police located the truck at a construction site at 5th and Tabor. The driver was arrested at the scene.
A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of open liquor, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and approximately 32 grams of cocaine.
The driver remains in custody and is under investigation for, impaired driving and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Agreed! At fifty years old, I suspect this isn’t the first time around for him. Glad he’s off the road for now at least.
See folks, it does work! You see a fool out there being stupid, call it in. Doesn’t always result in someone being checked or charged, but at least you’ve done what’s right. Kudos to the Mounties for picking him up.
One day in jail and eighteen months probation. Get back to me on this.
Well, at least he was apprehended before someone was hurt.
