New Provincial Cabinet to be Unveiled Soon

Wednesday, August 29, 2012 @ 1:21 PM
Prince George, B.C.- Premier Christy Clark says she will soon announce a new cabinet.

Speaking to members of the media this hour, she says she had asked her existing cabinet to make their political futures known to her by the end of the summer so the team can lay its plans leading into the May 2013 election. She says she will be introducing a new cabinet next week, “We need a new team” says Clark, who adds the Cabinet needs some fresh eyes.

She says the decision by Kevin Falcon to step down from politics was the right one for his family. She says the Falcon’s are expecting another child, which is due to arrive around the same time a new budget will be delivered and adds since her government has been pushing to put families first, it would be hypocritical for the Government to expect any of its Cabinet Ministers  to put their families second.

Falcon’s departure is not the only Cabinet minister who will be stepping down. The Premier says she is aware there will be other changes, and  it is up to those Ministers to make their own announcements.

Every young family in BC works and raises kids. This is basically normal in this Country, so lets quit the BS.

Falcon left because there is no place in the Christy Clark Government for him, or for a lot of the other **also rans**.

Christy need a clean (as clean as possible) slate going into the next election. She doesnt need the likes of Falcon, Hanson, Abbot, et al;

Good riddance to the bunch of them.

It is truly amazing how the press has not called bullshit on this one. Palopu is quite right and obviously everyone knows. Like no one in politics has children. What a load of crap. Glad he’s gone, however. We will probably, most likely, see him back.
