Terrace, B.C. – Weather may have been a factor in a crash that involved an RCMP vehicle in Terrace Wednesday morning.
Terrace RCMP say a west-bound Mitsubishi van collided with a fully marked RCMP Chevy Tahoe heading east along Highway 16 just inside the city’s eastern limits at 10:17.
Both the RCMP constable at the wheel of the SUV and the 79 year old man in the van were taken to Mills Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
RCMP say there was a heavy downpour of rain at the time of the collision.
West Pacific Regional Traffic Services is investigating.
