Although it is clear that the Liberals will be gone as the government after the election next year, an astute rightist MLA could well be thinking of the future. Most governments have 3-4 terms before being ousted, so in ten years or so we could expect a new government. Any Liberal MLA elected this coming election will be looked on with favour as being loyal to the party and stand a good chance of being a front runner for opposition leader of a (renamed?) rightist party, assuming it isn’t an avalanche, that is. Worth a shot, anyway.

If they do succeed at keeping a few chairs warm, and that is all I’m sure they have been doing, I have a question to Pat Bell: “What’s going on? Why so slow at this big future growth we are being promised? Why is nothing happening? What’s the hold up?” Maybe a new gov’t would get this new prosperity up and running. I love Busty Clark but where is all this growth, (million jobs) and selling of our resources that we were told about? China is slowly starting to burst it’s new found bubble of wealth and when that goes boom, who is going to need our resources that we are willing to give away for jobs? China is starting to endure huge profit losses due to a huge overstock of unsold over produced goods. A slowdown is imminent.

Once a lieberal always a lieberal Bond and bell are members of the same tired old fat cat crowd I wish the elections were yesterday and that couldn’t be soon enough!! With the NDP there was investment and we left a surplus in the kitty. Unlike the Lieberals who sold the assets of BC to their friends and left the province in debt for a long time.
