CNC Opens a New School Year

Prince George, B.C. – It’s that time of year when leaves are falling, moose are calling and students at all academic levels are returning to the classroom.

 

And that is certainly the case this week on the seven campuses of the College of New Caledonia in the Central Interior. CNC has lined up this schedule for the opening few weeks of the school year on the Prince George campus:
 
Tuesday, Sept. 4

 

8-10 a.m. Orientation sessions for our students in all programs.

 

11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Toonie Burger Barbecue prepared by our professional cook students, Front courtyard 

 

Wednesday, Sept. 5

 

First Day of classes
 
Thursday, Sept. 6

 

College and Community Information Fair

 

10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

 

More than 40 college departments and community agencies will be in the atrium informing students what’s available to them in Prince George.
 
Thursday, Sept. 13

 

Big Honkin’ Head Shave noon – 2 p.m. in the atrium.

 

Organized by CNC Students’ Union and Society of Business Program students – fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society 

 

Wednesday, Sept. 19

 

8th annual Pancake Breakfast – free for students and employees

 

7:30 – 9:30 a.m.  Front courtyard
