It’s Been a Warm Summer in Prince George

Prince George, B.C. – August was basically warm and dry in the Prince George area. Temperatures were near normal for the first couple of days, and then the heat was on with above normal temperatures through to the 20th. Conditions returned to near normal through to the end of the month. In the end, temperatures came in close to a degree above normal.
On the precipitation side of things, a wet start on the 1st, then a dry period through to the 27th was just a few scattered showers or thunderstorms. Conditions turned quite unsettled for the last 4 days of the month.

Average daily high of 23.2 was above the normal of 21.7 degrees C.
