“High Marking Leads to ATV Roll Over”
No kidding ….. who would have thought that?
I have this neat idea. Why don’t we opne upp an ATV dealership and call it High Mark Recreation.
Oops, already been done.

Well….I’ve done that on quads, bikes, and sleds. Its fine if eveything goes right but I’ve had to bail off a few times because sometimes it just doesn’t go your way.
If they keep up this risky behaviour they are going to get their activity legislated into oblivion.
High marking… what a stupid activity.
Darwin had a theory.
Gravity still brings you back down to reality eventually.
Darwin had a theory ………. which still gets tested frequently to this day.
Its really fun on a dirt bike (probably the safest thing you can do on a dirt bike)… if you know how to ride one and when to bail if need be. Very safe on a dirt bike because by the time you need to turn you have no speed left (its all about balance)… if you’re brakes work good then no worries.
PG has some great places for high marking dirt bikes. Behind the Hart scales, power lines, Snake hill (garbage dump), Pulpmill road cut banks are fun, lots of great hills on the B*tch trail that runs along North Nechako ridge… and the best of them all is the Indian cutbank at the end of North Nechako road (I’ve come so close in the past, but never have made it over the top of that one). I’ve ridden with professional riders from down south that have said we have the best riding right here in the city of PG better than anywhere else they have ever been. I’m not aware of anyone that has ever been seriously hurt high marking on a dirt bike… I think we should have a world class competition here on the cutbanks.. PG could easily be the Jackson Hole of Canada for dirt biking.
That said its a stupid idea to try high marking with ATV’s. They are not designed for that and weigh to much and its not so easy to just let it go. The darwin award should go to those that try to highmark with an ATV.
