Local Man Faces Drug Charges

Prince George, B.C.- A Prince George man is facing drug related charges following a vehicle check, and subsequent  searches of two  homes in Prince George.

RCMP say  they were conducting surveillance on a suspected drug dealer  when they conducted a vehicle check   of a black Volkswagen Jetta in the alleyway between Quince  and Victoria Streets around 11:30 yesterday morning.

During the vehicle check a significant quantity of Methamphetamine as well as smaller amounts of Cocaine and MDMA, more commonly known as Ecstasy, were seized. 
 
The two occupants of the vehicle, a  36 year old man and a  29 year old female were arrested.
Evidence located during the traffic stop led the Crime Reduction Team to obtain two search warrants for residences in Prince George. With the assistance of the Prince George RCMP’s Drug Section and Serious Crime Section,  search warrants were executed on residences in the 1400 block of Nation Crescent and the 2600 block of Norwood Street last evening.
 
The searches resulted in the  seizure of more  illicit drugs and drug trafficking paraphernalia. Five other persons were arrested as a result of these warrants.
 
The following charge has been approved by Provincial Crown Counsel against 36  year old Sean Kenneth Broadley:
 
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (3 counts)
 
RCMP say they expect  further charges to be laid in relation to this  investigation.
