RCMP Dog Baron Finds Missing Man

Quesnel, B.C. – RCMP service dog Baron is being credited with making the difference in quickly locating a man who had been ejected from a vehicle during a single car crash.
Just after 2.30 am. Saturday police arrived on the scene of an accident in which a single vehicle had rolled into the ditch.
The driver was not found and Baron and his handler Cpl Collin Warwick were called. They quickly found the man lying in a bush about 20 meters away from the vehicle.
The 24 year old man was taken to hospital in Quesnel and later transferred to Prince George where he underwent surgery.
The quick response by Baron and his handler are credited with making a difference in locating and bringing emergency help to the man.
He is expected to make a full recovery.
