Prince George, B.C. – “Even if I don’t finish, we need others to continue. It’s got to keep going without me.”-Terry Fox
With those thoughts in mind, hundreds of Prince George residents are expected to join thousands from 112 BC communites
in today’s 32nd annual Terry Fox run.

Since Terry’s Marathon of Hope in 1980, more than $600 million has been raised for cancer research. In the past year more than $2.9 million has been raised for the Terry Fox Foundation by residents of B.C. and the Yukon.
Today in Prince George participants will run, walk and wheel to raise funds to help find a cure for cancer. The Terry Fox statue at Community Foundation Park at 7th and Dominion is the hub of today’s activities.
Registration begins at 9 a.m., with the 5km run to start at 10.
Those wishing to donate to the Terry Fox Foundation can go to www.terryfox.org or you can phone 1-888-836-9786.
