This year, Northern Health will be receiving $1-million dollars in a global equipment grant to be used for purchases for hospitals and health centres throughout the region.  The grant will be used to purchase a defibrillator, pediatric monitors, beds, pumps, and a surgical table.

The RHD has been providing the yearly capital grant since 1999, for minor equipment purchases.
