Prince George, B.C.- The Prince George Cougars have already started the season, but will have their first home game of the season tonight at CN Centre.
The home opener is bound to be exciting as the Cougars host Seattle. It kicks off with the annual tailgate party outside the CN Centre from 5-7 p.m.
The party mood has a Pink Power Play theme to support the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation’s Run For the Cure. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the rink to be eligible to win prizes.
During the second intermission, $500 cash will be up for grabs during the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Chuck A Puck Challenge. Pucks will be available for purchase in Section V with all proceeds going towards the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
Fans will also have the opportunity to Rattle The Rink courtesy of Save On Foods. Once inside the building, fans can purchase boxes of macaroni and cheese from Save On Foods for only $1 in Sections H and W. Those boxes of mac and cheese make great noise makers and once the game wraps up, the boxes can be donated to the Salvation Army’s food bank.
