Prince George, B.C. – The current sitting of the Enbridge Northern Gateway Project Joint Review Panel hearings in Prince George will wrap up on one subject before switching gears to focus on the next subject.
There are three intervenors yet to question Enbridge about the subject of pipeline design and routing. Once they have completed their line of questioning, the focus on that subject will close. Then the next subject will come underscrutiny, that being the operations , safety, accident prevention and emergency preparedness and respose related to the pipelines.
The questioning on that subject area will carry on through the balance of this week, as it is estimated intervenors will need some 46 hours to complete their questioning.
The Final Hearings of the Questioning Phase resume Oct 29th to Nov 9th at the Ramada in Prince George. Then it’s on to Prince Rupert for hearings Nov 22-30 and Dec 10-18.
Community Hearings for oral statements begin in Victoria January 7th.

Refine it here in Canada. If that’s not economically viable, leave it in the ground until it is. Shipping crude robs future generations of Canadians.
