Prince George, B.C. – Fouls were the name of the game Saturday afternoon when the Timberwolves men’s soccer team faced the UFV Cascades. The Cascades who finished 3-0 over the Timberwolves put up 13 fouls while UNBC added 18 to the total. The teams will meet again tomorrow for their second game of the weekend.

The Timberwolves defense played a tight aggressive game, holding the Cascades scoreless at half. Outside back Connor Noftle (Chilliwack, BC) spoiled multiple UFV advances, while center back Logan Phenuff (Sherwood Park, AB) added a strong boot to the backline.

Both teams will return to the North Cariboo Soccer Fields today for round two of their Canada West match-up; kickoff is set for noon.
