Gusty Wind Gives Some Items Wings
Vehicles dodge the back yard patio canopy that lies in south bound lane of Winnipeg street, photo- 250 NEWS
Prince George, B.C.- The commercial for one of those energy drinks claims the product will "give you wings", well, no energy drink here, but this backyard patio cover flew over a fence.
The wind has been gusting in the 45 km per hour range, enough to somehow get under the canopy and lift it up and over the backyard fence of a Winnipeg-5th Avenue home. The gazebo was then dumped into the southbund lane of Winnipeg Street, luckily it did not contribute to any traffic mishaps or injuries.
Our 250NEWS photographer went door to door to find the rightful owner, and the gazebo was returned to its rightful yard, no doubt given an extra tie down to make sure it didn’t "take flight" again.

Typical PG driver. They drive into the wrong lane to avoid an object that they could have gotten out and moved easily. Classy.
Moved it where? Onto the sidewalk or on somebody’s front yard? Where it then would have then been blown somewhere else…
Funny how people think the wind gets “under” something to lift it. Its lifted from the top, as in wind going OVER it.
