Why was he wearing those antlers then. Coulda been avoided i think!

I’ve never understood how a human can be mistaken for a hunted animal. You have to buy a tag for the animal you are hunting. If you can’t positively identify that animal or human why are you shooting at it?

What a dumbass!

are u kidding me. pretty sure you are supposed to identify the animal u are looking at to make sure it is legal before u fire a shot. what an idiot. i hope he is charged loses his guns and right to hunt. makes all hunters look bad with his stupidity

Not knowing the information, I will not make a judgement. Enough just to say what an unfortunate situation. I think that most hunters do an excellent job.

Most hunters identify before they even raise the firearm. A very bad choice for the person who did the shooting. If he doesn’t lose his hunting priveledge, I would be very upset with our justice system — for the n’th time.

Manslaughter, revoke hunting and firearms license. Accidents like these should never happen. Make these careless poachers cause thats what they are if they are shooting something they can’t identify; angain poachers accountable.

“makes all hunters look bad with his stupidity”

I’m a hunter and don’t think that way. Not my fault there are so many stupid people on this planet. It has nothing to do with being a hunter.

doogood…..HUH???

yup sure seems like a poacher

“Pink Mountain Area?” Fat blondes beware!

There are smart hunters who shoot knowing that their target is acceptable legal game and Dragonmaster i don’t doubt you are a smart hunter. Not shooting at anything that moves. This guy is a Poacher.

Um why was the guy on the quad that early in the morning to begin with?
Horrible accident, I work with someone who was shot at once by a “city” person who took the course, bought all the supplies, then shot at the first thing he saw moving. I think we need a little more training given to people who have never been out in the bush hunting before in their life.

A big OOOOPPPSSS!!!

As Bill Engvall would say:
“Theres your sign!”
People like that are why I don’t go into the woods during hunting season anymore.
Heres hoping the guy with the shot knee can walk normally again.
metalman.
