Prince George, B.C. – There may be an interuption  in power in the Chief Lake Road area this evening as crews replace a power pole that was damaged  late this afternoon.

A horse trailer came loose from  the truck  pulling it along Chief Lake Road, the trailer then slammed into the pole.

The trailer was empty  at the time.    No  one injured, but the  pole is definitely  history.

Somebody is in a pile of doodoo. Trailers aren’t supposed to come off the truck. Safety chains must have been faulty or non existant.

Uh oh! I’m glad nobody and no animal was hurt here. Could of been worse!

“I thought YOU tightened the trailer ball!
Regardless of the condition of the ball or the hitch, there are a couple of things that prevent a runaway;
1) Safety chains. Required.
2) emergency braking activated by break away switch, requiring a live battery on board the trailer. Required.
Someone is definitely on a shit list.
