Quesnel Woman Faces Charges After Building Hit

Quesnel, B.C. – A 36 year old Quesnel woman is facing numerous charges after a Quesnel business was hit by a vehicle.
RCMP in Quesnel say a business on Legion Drive in Quesnel had sustained $50 thousand dollars worth of damage when it was struck by a vehicle in the early hours of October 14th.
RCMP noted a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Dragon Hill on Highway 97 and that one headlight was out. Once the vehicle was stopped, police saw that the vehicle had recently been in a collision. The driver of the vehicle was showing some signs of impairment, and subsequent breathalyzer tests produced readings that were twice the legal limit.
A 36 year old woman is now facing charges of failing to remain at the scene of an accident, impaired driving and blood alcohol level over .08
