Prince George , B.C.- Members of the Spruce Kings hockey team got a bit of a jolt last evening on their way to Langley.

According to Ron Gallo, Director of Communications for the team, the bus hit a soft shoulder on the Fraser Highway and slid into the ditch. The good news   no one was hurt.

The bus remained upright.

Ron Gallo says there was heavy rain at the time, a sharp shoulder and it was dark , that all contributed to the problem of visibility.

The Spruce Kings are in Langley tonight to take on the Rivermen and travel to Coquitlam for a match up on Saturday.
