Calling Little Pumpkin Pickers
A chance to ‘test’ the costumes at Remax Centre City’s annual pumpkin party in the parking lot on 15th Avenue
Prince George, BC – In what’s become an annual event, a pumpkin patch has cropped today for little munchkins wanting to find the perfect jack ‘o lantern…
Remax Centre City is hosting its 16th Annual Pumpkin Party with face painting, a haunted house for those daring little trick-or-treaters, and food to warm up with on this first really chilly day. At right, 13-month-old Owen Hauff takes a time out on a bale of hay to enjoy popcorn with his mom, Christine.
Associate Broker, Holly Barone, says the party is a way to ‘give back’ to the community – all proceeds from today’s event will be going to the Salvation Army’s Food Bank.
Barone says the fundraiser grows a little bigger and better each year. She laughs that the chill seemed to keep a few people away, but hordes of costumed kids were beginning to arrive in time for lunch.
The party lasts until 2pm.
