Prince George- The Coroners service has identified a man who died as a result of a commercial diving incident last Saturday off the coast of Haida Gwaii.

51 year old Robert Wayne Antifave of Lantzville, on Vancouver Island was diving for geoduck, a large clam, on a commercial boat.

On ascending from the dive, he was noted to be in medical distress. He was evacuated by air to the Queen Charlotte Hospital, but could not be resuscitated.

The BC Coroners Service is investigating the death.
