Prince George, B.C. – Residents in some parts of the bowl had a “blast” watching the fireworks display that lit up the Friday night sky.

With Halloween just around the corner several people gathered in the vicinity of Duchess Park school to take in the sights and sounds of the show. The local detachment did have to send a cruiser around though after getting reports that some of the younger people on hand appeared to be shooting firecrackers at each other.

Police do not report any injuries or problems arising out of those reports.

Was it supposed to be well advertised?

Since when does one have fireworks around this time of year?

Never heard a word about it

There are idiots living right beside Duchess park school on the north side that are irresponsible drunks and they shoot these fireworks off with no regard to safety. They have almost hurt people and almost burned their own house down last year! They have no respect for children and these guys hate women!

Where are the RCMP? Why are these drunken creeps allowed to upset our peace and be dangerous like this? Alcohol and fireworks don’t mix! The fat slob that puts this on, couldn’t run fast enough to save anyone. Hopefully they burn his old shack down this year.

Oooooh, that’s nasty.

Uh oh, just some drunks … Too bad
