Prince George, B.C. – B.C. Hydro is busy trying to restore power in pocket outages from Haida Gwaii to Prince George.
While there have been at least a couple of cases of power being knocked out because of trees coming down on hydro lines, just as many of the outages are still under investigation.
The largest outage is in Terrace where some 3000 customers north of Highway 16 between Gordon Drive and Highway 37 are in the dark. BC Hydro estimates service to that region will be restored by around 9:00 tonight.
