Tumbler Ridge, B.C.- RCMP  are continuing to investigate the weekend discovery of human remains near Tumbler Ridge.

Tumbler Ridge RCMP responded to a complaint of a suspicious fire in the Bull Moose Forest Service Road area on Saturday.   When the officer arrived on scene, he  found the  remnants of a fire as well as  what  appeared to be human remains.

Experts have  converged on the scene, and confirm the remains are human.  At this time, the  entire matter is being considered as "suspicious" and is under investigation.
