Williams Lake- One person is dead and four are in hospital, one in serious condition after a vehicle rolled into the ditch near Dog Creek on Highway 20 yesterday afternoon.

There were five people riding in the car, one died at the scene while four were taken to hospital in Williams Lake.

The highway was shut down most of the day as police tried to piece together the accident.

The cause and identity of those involved is not known.
