Police Seek Your Help

Prince George- Police are seeking your help after two reports of suspicious vehicles in the area of elementary schools yesterday in Prince George.
During the lunch hour, Prince George received a report from the parent of an 11 year old girl that stated that someone had offered her daughter a ride home. No physical contact was made and the child ran home without further incident.
The vehicle is described as a small older grey single cab pick-up truck with a roof rack. No licence plate was obtained. The driver was described as:
· Caucasian
· Heavier build
· Bald
· Approximately 30 years old
The vehicle or the suspect have not been located.
At approximately 2:15 pm, Prince George RCMP received a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of another elementary school.
Information provided to investigators was that a white minivan has been seen in the area Blackburn Elementary School on a few occasions over the last two weeks. Police attended Blackburn Elementary and have determined that no harm has been caused to the children.
A person of interest has been identified and is being actively sought by police. Part of the investigation will be to determine whether an offence has taken place.
Investigators are requesting to speak to the driver of the 1997 white Chevrolet Venture minivan and are asking that he call the Detachment at (250)561-3300 or attend the Detachment at 999 Brunswick Street to speak to an officer.
At this time, the Prince George RCMP have no reason to believe that these two incidents are related. If you have any information contact the RCMP.
