Prince George, BC – It was the start of a new tradition at Pine Centre Mall on Halloween as Prince George Firefighters led little costumed critters through the mall in three separate trick-or-treating ‘parades…

The event was a sell-out, as parents paid a $1 donation for the ‘treat’ of going door-to-door inside.  For volunteering their time, PG Firefighters have received payback for their major charity, Muscular Dystrophy.

Captain Rik Belsham and Shane Lapierre were presented with a cheque for $600 from Mall Marketing Manager, Sandra Raymont.

Raymont says feedback from both participants and mall merchants was really positive after the October 31st event and she’s looking forward to next year.
