CIBC and I think Royal now have VISA debit cards. Debit cards with a visa number. They’re great. One uses it just like a regular debit card, but if you need a visa number to make online purchases, make booking for holidays, or what ever you would normally charge to a visa… well you can still do that without going into debt as the purchase just comes directly out of your checking account.

Why would anyone ever want a visa charge card again? In a few years it will be akin to using payday cash loan sharks.

IMO be smart get a visa that charges no interest and doesn’t require a credit check to obtain. Then pay cash for everything.
