18 Year Old Woman Dead Following Shooting In Vanderhoof

Vanderhoof, B.C. – An 18 year old Vanderhoof woman is dead following a shooting.
The RCMP was notified in Vanderhoof at 4:39pm. today that a female, suffering from a gunshot wound, was being transported to the University of Northern BC Hospital in Prince George .
The young woman underwent surgery but succumbed to her injuries.
The North District Major Crime Unit is on the scene investigating the shooting and police say more information will be provided as soon as it becomes available.
