Prince George, B.C.- The man who died  New Year’s Eve in a crash on highway 97 has been identified as  36 year old Framiel Schreiber Sanchez, from Prince George.

He was driving southbound at the 10,000 block of Highway 97 when the vehicle in which he was travelling crossed the centre line and collided with oncoming traffic.

Mr. Schreiber Sanchez was transported from the scene of the incident to the University Hospital of Northern BC but was unable to recover from his injuries.

The Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.
