Sledding In The Sunshine
Carney Hill was a hub of activity as city residents enjoyed another sunny afternoon yesterday
Prince George, BC – It’s hard to stay indoors when the sun is shining and the temperature reaches a balmy -2 in the first week of January…
As a result, Carney Hill was dotted with families taking advantage of the last weekday off before kids return to school on Monday.
Photo at right shows Zoe Taylor giving her cousin, Elijah Rolufs, a reason to ‘hold on tight’ as she makes a beeline across the hill.
It will be more like a winter day today, as Environment Canada is calling for a few flurries throughout the day, with accumulations of between 2 and 4cm. The high is expected to reach -7.
The snow is expected to continue falling until sometime after midnight, with a mix of sun and cloud tomorrow and a high of -9.

NICE!!!
And why dont we have an out door luge/bob sled track yet???
Vulgar Sage, we don’t have a luge/bob sled track because too many of us that are a litle long in the tooth would get hurt trying it out. LOL! I am currently suffereing stiffness in my joints from sledding at Carney Hill the other night. Could not resist a child’s stand-up sled/bike contraption. Way too much fun.
