Cats Pick Up Forward
Prince George, B.C.- The Prince George Cougars have acquired 1993-born forward Klarc Wilson (Edmonton, AB) from the Edmonton Oil Kings. In return, the Cougars part ways with a third round pick in the 2014 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.
So far this season Wilson has scored five goals and 16 points for the Oil Kings. In 225 career games (Edmonton and Brandon) he has scored 23 goals and 78 points along with 332 penalty minutes. He added a goal and five points in 14 playoff games last season en route to a league championship with Edmonton.
Wilson was selected by the Brandon Wheat Kings in the first round (10th overall) in the 2008 WHL Bantam Draft. He played 19 games with the Wheat Kings before being traded to Edmonton in December, 2009. Wilson attended the Winnipeg Jets training camp as a free-agent invite prior to the 2011-2012 season.
