Call Out for Wildfire Fighters
Prince George, B.C.- The wildfire Management Branch of the Ministry of Forests Lands and Natural Resources, is looking for physically fit, motivated, team oriented people to join their crew posiotions for the 2013 fire season.

The Wildfire Management Branch employs over 1,100 firefighters and specialized personnel, who are widely considered to be among the best wildfire crews in the world.
Interested candidates have until January 24th to submit their applications online through the Wildfire Management Branch website. The website will detail the full job qualifications as well as the process for recruitment .
Typically, successful applicants expect to start work in May and continue working until the end of August. They will be stationed throughout B.C, but could be called upon to serve in other parts of Canada or other countries should the need arise. When not fighting wildfires, cres may be called upon to do other work, such as fuel management, prescribed burns, community work and public awareness campaigns.

Gee, and here I thought it was 2014 season they were recruiting for.
Anyway …. who is taking bets that this will be a big forest fire year in BC.
Four months during University semester break. Good money. Reduce amount of student loan required.
Is a forest fire a wild fire? If my house catches fire and burns down would that be a wild fire or a house fire?
