Prince George B.C.- A seventh person has now been arrested and charged in connection with a brutal sexual assault on a young male in Prince George last week.

 

The latest to be charged is a 14 year old male. Under the Youth Criminal Justice Act , his name cannot be released.   He is now charged with :

·       Aggravated Sexual Assault

·       Aggravated Assault

·       Unlawful Confinement

 

The charges follow the discovery of a young male in a snow bank behind a Juniper Street apartment building one week ago. He had been   assaulted and sexually assaulted.  

Police also discovered a second male had been the victim of an assault.

 

The charges against the 14 year old relate only to the attack on the male who was found in the snowbank.

 

Already charged are:

The 14 year old who has now been charged is expected to appear in Provincial Court later today. The other 6 have all been remanded in custody until Wednesday.

 

"This investigation continues to be a priority for this Detachment" says Cpl. Craig Douglass, Media Liaison Officer for the Prince George RCMP. "We urge anyone that may have information, to please call the Detachment."

 

One victim remains in hospital.
