Prince George, B.C.- The BC Coroners Service has released the name of the man who died in a crash near Granisle yesterday.

The deceased  is John George, aged 57, of Granisle.

He was the driver and sole occupant of a southbound pickup truck that collided with a northbound logging truck on Highway 118 about 12 km south of Granisle, at about 9:40 a.m. on Jan. 14.

He was deceased at the scene.

The Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate.
