Prince George, B.C.- In February, Tabor Mountain will host the first pre-2015 Winter Games test event. It is the snowboard cross event, and it will be held on the newly designed snowboard cross course.
The course will rank among some of the best in the world as it is being designed by Jeff Ihaksi, one of the best course designers, period.
From Whistler, Ihaksi has designed courses for national international and World Cup events including the snowboard cross event for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
Most recently he designed a course at Powder King for visiting and training snowboarders from the Canadian, Australian, Brazilian and Russian teams.
Ihaksi is at Tabor Mountain today, making this week’s visit   his second as he prepares his design work for the 2015 Games.

Nice!!!, can we have an out door bob sleigh and luge please.

Awesome. I can’t wait to see this event. I went to one of the volunteer sessions recently and was most pleasantly impressed with the opportunities available with volunteering for the 2015 Canada Winter Games. Pretty exciting stuff!
