This is unfair to single out Nortel executives… the truth is this is a depiction of the entire financial sector. This is how monopoly capitalism works as companies are cannibalized for the executive and their wall street profiteers that harvest our economy.
This is the norm in our economy now.

They were found not guilty after a mob of prosecutors, SEC and all other regulatory bodies that watched the financial system collapse due to their incompotence, and then look for a target to take the blame. These guys had a target on them and the mob needed justice.
There were lots of bad guys in 2009. these guys weren’t them.
Nortel cost me money by the way.

They are paid millions to know what they are doing when running these large corporations……acquitted because they didn’t know what their actions would lead too?? A double standard in our legal system of the absurd. IMHO

” They are paid millions to know what they are doing “
Yes they are. That’s why their futures were/are secure, they saw it coming. I agree with Eagle here, the Nortel execs acted with only industry standard greed, just like nearly all of their ilk. The rich get ever richer. metalman.
