Be nice if they could get us off the top of the list “crime Capital of Canada”
Cheers

That’s what they are trying to do, duh.

When.

Isn’t that their job?

It is their job. So, one can ask the question, “If that is their job, how come we are one of the leaders in the country?”

But, hey, we really should not be asking such questions if we wish to be PC.

You know, pizza is really just a fast food with a bunch of additives that do nothing for your physique. But, fast food is needed in your occupation. How many meals half eaten to answer a call, hmmmm……
Well done folks, good to see a good news story like this, lets all us armchair quarterbacks appreciate the job you do. Any yeah, you definitely need the new office space. They’ll be cleaning pizza crusts out of the ductworks of the old one…..LOL

Crime stoppers is a volunteer group that oversees tips that are sent in to the site, via text or phone. The system works very well with money paid out to the tipsters. The program is there for the public to use, looking for money or not. It will do better when the public picks up the phone and uses the service.!!!!!

Good work and congrats to the recipients! Keep catching lowlifes and criminals.

“It will do better when the public picks up the phone and uses the service”

Don’t you need a crime to report first?

So if it is not used often enough, perhaps we do not have as many crimes as we thought. ;-)

I realize that sounds pretty trite. However, the fact is, in all my 35+ years of living here I have not had one occasion where I have suspected a crime in progress or have had some knowledge of a crime committed which would give the police some further information.

I guess I have lived a very mundane life. Should have lived in a less safe area of the city. :-)

Well done, all of you. Nice to see some recognition for you for all that you do.
