Fire Crews Attend Giscome Home

Prince George, B.C. – Firefighters from three halls responded to a reported house fire early Saturday afternoon in Giscome.
The call to the 7600 block Giscome Road came in shortly after 12:30pm Saturday. 17 firefighters with Prince George Fire Rescue attended and quickly extinguished the fire. However, a spokesperson says there was extensive damage inside the structure, damage totalling about $90,000. The house was unoccupied at the time of the fire. There were no injuries.
The cause of the blaze has not been determined.
