City, CUPE To Meet This Week

Prince George, B.C. – Contract negotiations between the City of Prince George and its inside and outside workers have not yet begun.

 

An anticipated meeting between the parties last Friday did not materialize as expected. The two sides were to set protocol and come up with dates for the opening of bargaining.

 

It is now believed the negotiators for the City and CUPE Locals 399 and 1048 will meet sometime this week.  The last contract covering city employees expired at the end of December.
