Prince George, B.C.- Highway 97  is closed to all traffic   about 10 kms north of Hixon near the  spot known as "Microwave Hill"  just south of the  rest stop at Woodpecker, because of a  serious  vehicle crash involving a logging truck.

Investigators are just arriving on scene, however,  it is beleived  at least one person has suffered critical injuries. 

The logging truck has lost it’s load on the roadway, and the debris field is extensive.

There is no word on on when the highway will reopen .
